Lauren Mitchell​

After university, where Lauren gained a Fine Arts degree, she joined The Festival Road Carnival Group and toured the UK as a performer as well as a costume designer and maker. Lauren also became a set designer and maker. Most notable events were taking part in the Luton Carnival and The Lord Mayor’s Show. Lauren is re-treading the boards in VAMPS’s production of Our House (2022) following a long break focusing on recycled arts and crafts, having previously been on stage as a puppeteer’s assistant at the Bristol Old Vic. She is a senior member of the Our House (2022) family and, with her years of experience, we hope she stays with us for many more shows to come.
