Naomi Mallabone

After watching a few VAMPS productions in the past that she enjoyed, Naomi was excited to see that VAMPS were to perform The Sound of Music and joined the cast as it was a show she has always wanted to do, and with perfect timing too as she is literally sixteen going on seventeen! Naomi is currently studying A-level drama, psychology, and English Language, and has performed numerous times with Cambourne Village College (CamVC), and Comberton Village College (CVC), with roles such as Wednesday Addams (The Addams Family – 2022 – CamVC), Roxie Hart (Chicago: Teen Edition – 2023 – CamVC), and Jane Seymour (Six: Teen Edition – 2023 – CVC). Naomi recently performed in the ensemble of Cambridge based amdram group Pied Pipers’ production of The Wedding Singer, which has been nominated for the 2024 NODA Best Musical award. Naomi has also been with Stagecoach for nearly 10 years, giving her the opportunity to perform in a dance show at Shaftesbury Theatre in London, and more recently in their 2024 production of Rent: Teen Edition as Maureen. Naomi has loved going to the theatre from a really early age, and her first West End show was The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, the show where she caught the musical theatre bug at just the age of 4. Naomi also loves art, fashion, music, and chocolate!

Naomi would like to dedicate this performance to her grandma (Nainy Haidie) who has always been her biggest fan; this musical is her absolute favourite!
