Jacqueline Coleman

Jacqueline moved to St Neots in 2021 with her partner, and their border collie Rosie. Theatre has been in Jacqui’s blood since the age of 9, where she played the Angel Gabriel in the school nativity. Since then she has performed in numerous shows, recieving a 2:1 in Theatre and Performance Studies at Warwick University, and made her VAMPS debut in 2024 in The Sound of Music. Jacqui has also performed with Moulton Theatre, an amdram group in Northampton, performing in over 10 productions since 2018 including Ivy Samways (Dad’s Army – 2018), Pauline (Sandcastles – 2019), Curley’s Wife (Of Mice and Men – 2019), Barbara (Billy Liar – 2022) and Rachel/Rosco Crabbe (One Man Two Guvnors – 2023). Jacqui has also taken on creative roles such as marketing for Moulton Theatre, and she brings this experience to VAMPS as marketing lead for The Sound of Music.

Outside of theatre, Jacqui was a police officer for Bedfordshire Police, spending many years chasing bad guys and protecting the streets of Luton until 2023 where she had a complete career change and joined the St Neots Town Council as the Events and Communications Officer. Her new career has Jacqui organising local community events such as the Dragon Boat Race and the Christmas Lights Switch On. Jacqui says that working at the council comes in handy when the performance space is in the same building, she came to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang which she found to be phenomenal, and now she is exciting to be beginning her new theatre adventure in St Neots with VAMPS.
