Amy Bates

Amy has been performing for many years, starting at secondary school as Alice in Alice in Wonderland, and working with various theatrical and dance companies such as Spotlight Productions (Elle Woods – Legally Blonde), Open Stage Theatre Company (Rizzo – Grease), Langdale Academy/Showbiz (Meat – We Will Rock You), Big Top Theatre Company (Miranda – The Grinch), and Pocket Productions (Betty – Fossils). Showstoppers 6 marked Amy’s official debut as a VAMPS member, after Chicago was cruelly cancelled, however Amy did appear on stage with VAMPS in Showstoppers V as part of Langdale Dance Academy. Since then Amy has performed in Fringe (2023) and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2023). Amy is also on the committee as the communications officer.

Outside of theatre Amy works as a marketing specialist at FUJIFILM UK, and moonlights as a children’s entertainer with Magic Mirror Parties.
