Chloe Hardwick-Mardell

Wanting to experience a new group and make new friends, Chloe joined VAMPS in 2023 for The Sound of Music (2024), after hearing good things about the society. Although The Sound of Music is Chloe’s St Neots debut, she has performed numerous times for Bourn Players, Cambridgeshire since 2012 with roles such as Boris the spy in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2023), Nana the Dog, Lost Boy & Mermaid in Peter Pan (2016), and Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone (2014).

The Sound of Music was Chloe’s first vinyl record at the age of 4, and with the influence of her icon, Julie Andrews and her famous roles Maria and Mary, Chloe has been nannying since 2008 and has a degree in childcare. Until 2001 when settled into a small Cambridgeshire village, Chloe lived in various locations and picked up their various accents, a skill Chloe uses in her performances. Her parents and brother have always supported Chloe’s love of “dancing and prancing” and it gives her confidence when she feels like she can’t do anything,

Chloe would like to dedicate her performance to her darling wife Hannah, who pushed her to try something new, and has put up with Chloe’s waffling and warbling of show tunes since they met. Long may it continue!
