Emily Plattern

Emily moved to St Neots in 2017 and a year later joined VAMPS – making her debut in Avenue Q as Mrs Thistletwat. When she moved to St Neots, Emily didn’t know anyone and was looking to make friends and find an outlet for her love of musical theatre so she feels blessed to have gotten the best of both worlds by joining VAMPS. Emily has since appeared in 4 productions for VAMPS, Legally Blonde (Pilar) and Made in Dagenham (Cass), Showstoppers 6 (2022), and was slated to play the lead role of Roxie Hart in 2020’s Chicago, which was cruelly postponed; Emily hopes that one day she’ll be able to fulfil this role and do Roxie Hart justice in full!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (2023) is Emily’s sixth production with VAMPS, and her first on the production team, as the Production Manager, a role she has loved and is super grateful to have been given.

Emily would like to let everyone know that VAMPS is for everyone, even if you feel you have something holding you back, you are welcome! Emily would like to thank everyone for their love and support, and her dogs…because they are adorable.
