Joseph Lawton

Joseph joined VAMPS in 2023 for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang being cast as one of the lead child characters Jeremy Potts. Joseph first got the acting bug when he played Joseph in his preschool nativity show, he followed up with a performance at Barnabas Oley CofE Primary School where he played William Shakespeare in Shakespeare Rocks (2022), and since then has joined Riverside Theatre Company to further his performance skills in a supportive and fun environment where to date he played The Cat in the Hat in Seussical The Musical (2023). In his free time Joseph plays rugby and cricket, and is also a keen pianist, and a competitive Irish dancer!

Joseph would like to dedicate his performance to his family for always being supportive, including two of his siblings Aoibhe and Sammy who will join him onstage as part of the children’s ensemble.
