Melanie Wilcox

This will be Melanie’s first outing with VAMPS, however you may recognise Mel from St Neots Players’ 2021 panto Sleeping Beauty which marked not only her directoral debut but also her acting debut as Fauna the Fairy for our sister society – with a co-writer credit being the cherry on top! Mel will also be directing the upcoming Silly Cow for St Neots Players.

Outside of St Neots, Mel has been involved with numerous other amdram societies, including BATS (Biggleswade) where she has taken on various roles including director, stage manager, writer, performer, and production manager for numerous productions – including directing and performing in the NODA award winning production of Steel Magnolias (Best Play 2018). Mel has also directed and performed with PUDS, and CTTA.

Mel would like to dedicate her performance to her family – who have helped her to build back confidence after a long gap, and who now support this crazy performance addition she has!
