Tom Kirkbride

Tom first joined VAMPS for our NODA award winning production of The Addams Family (2015), and won Best Supporting Role at the VAMPS awards for his performance. Before joining VAMPS Tom had never really done any acting or singing (aside from the occasional karaoke night)! Since then Tom has performed for VAMPS thirteen times, winning the Bill Berridge award in 2022 for Showstoppers 6. In 2024 he took the leading role of Captain von Trapp for the production The Sound of Music. Tom has had fun with the majority of his roles so it was hard to pick a favourite but he really enjoyed playing both Goran in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Tooley in Made in Dagenham. Tom has enjoyed performing on stage so much that he has been involved in a number of local productions since then having appeared for St Neots Players six times including three pantos, and has also performed with Melodramatics. Tom has also been involved in backstage roles across the three societies too! In his free time, Tom dabbles in voice acting. He would like to thank his family and friends for their constant support.
